This ministry provides qualifying students in grades K – 4, with a bag of food weekly. This sustains the children over the weekend so that they arrive Monday morning nourished and ready to learn.
During the school year, kids in grades K-4 that qualify for free or reduced cost meal program at school may sign up to receive a sack of food weekly to nourish them over the weekend. This sack contains (2) Breakfasts, (2) lunches, (2) dinners as well as snacks and drinks. During the summer months, these same kids may request a sack of food that provides a week’s supply for the registered child. All Mercer County schools participate in this program and we serve over 300 children during the school months.
